Gender segregation at hair salons outrageous; causes unjust income loss on non-Muslims

MCA’s sounding the alarm that PAS’ policies will affect non-Muslim is once again proven in the recent case where the Kota Bharu Municipal Council (MPKB) slapped summons against Chinese, non-Muslim female hair salon owners after deeming that they had committed an offence in cutting the hair of non-Muslim male clients. Section 107(2) of the Local Council Act by-laws forbids unisex services at Kota Bharu hair salons irrespective of religion.

In claiming that non-Muslims are not subject to PAS hudud enactments nor would they affect non-Muslims, PAS is lying absolutely through their teeth. This deception is designed to appear moderate and win non-Muslim ballots. The hair dressers’ case in Kota Bharu is just another example as to how PAS policies causes unjust income loss on non-Muslim entrepreneurs trying to earn an honest living.

Livelihoods stunted

It is bad enough that PAS tears families apart when it enforces separated check out counters and cinemas in Kelantan, but the extension of this gender segregation ruling to hair salons owners results with unnecessary economic hardship and talent loss. This is because, in addition to having to pay fines, proprietors would have to reduce hiring employees or even releasing a few of them as they cannot accept clients of the opposite gender which effectively leads to a reduction of clients coming to their hair salon.

Hair stylists would also have to leave Kelantan state to seek a living in other states, while consumers maybe burdened with higher costs as hair dressers raise their prices to cover rental and other overheads.

PAS must stop treating people as immature

The premises of the hair salon is transparent, whereby outsiders can see through the glass walls the hair dressers cutting, colouring or perming their customers’ hair. Hence, it is impossible to carry out form of unsavoury or obscene activity in broad daylight at a public outlet.

Something must be very warped with PAS’ mentality to assume that any form of contact between a pair of scissors, comb and hair dye with the hair of the opposite gender leads to lust. Such self-righteousness spells sheer hypocrisy like the holier-than-thou Talibans who had no qualms oppressing their own people.

Who cares for DAP’s consensus call? PAS? Not at all

DAP Secretary General Lim Guan Eng’s declaration that so long as there is no consensus or that PAS’ proposals are not contained in Pakatan’s Buku Jingga, PAS hudud enactments will not be adopted. However, the Kelantan scenario clearly shows that PAS does not care a twig as to what DAP announces.

DAP wields no influence at all in trying to reason with PAS. Hence, DAP will not be able to protect the non-Muslim community but paradoxically is only helping PAS to subjugate Malaysians further no different from the Taliban regime.

林氏父子更应为失职而辞职

（吉隆坡1日讯) 马华槟州妇女组主席陈清凉揶揄林吉祥，数十年以来挑战过无数的政治人物辞职，但是他自己却从来不需要为本身的失职而辞职。林吉祥和林冠英父子俩动辄就要人引咎辞职，如果真正要计算，林氏父子早就应该因无法兑现的种种诺言而引咎辞职。

她今日是针对林吉祥声称，如果国会222名议员当中有超过半数，即至少112名议员赞成搁置落实自动执法系统（AES），交通部长江作汉便别无选择需为此引咎辞职一事，如此表示。

“倘若要数林吉祥和林冠英才更应该引咎辞职，我看他们父子俩也应该需要引咎辞职不下7次了！自林冠英上任首长以来，跳票的承诺多不胜数，其中有槟城泊车费收到午夜、承诺关闭双溪育收费站、原本建人民组屋的土地变成建私人医院、落实地方选举、老虎园计划告吹，发展山坡破坏自然生态以及承诺改善公共交通系统却做不到等等。不仅如此，林吉祥也曾许下跳票的承诺,当中有三宝山基金,高等教育基金,Shell官司基金等。

她补充，民联尤其行动党曾信口开河的许下许多承诺，但却从未对未落实的承诺作出交代和解释。民联常要求国阵政府在任何工程发展上保持透明度，但是最后却漠视透明、公开招标政策，而槟城人民最需要的是人民组屋，民联却将兴建人民组屋的土地兴建私人医院，完全没有顾及人民需求。

“林吉祥既然那么喜欢挑战别人辞职，那么他应该先叫自己的儿子引咎辞职才对。”

首长跳舞博宣传 不务实办事

(槟城23日讯) 马华槟州妇女组主席陈清凉揶揄林冠英与其花时间参与Ubah Rocket Style跳舞部分博宣传，倒不如时时在在的脚踏实地认真工作，特别是在林首长接手后升旗山缆车更是屡次出现事故，导致游客怨声四起。

“升旗山新缆车是中央旅游部拨款给州政府的工程，但是一年来却不断发生人为事故造成故障，中央政府甚至耗资6300万令吉建设第一等级的基本设施，但是槟州政府却因为管理不当，搞到最终第三级管理水准，导致新缆车刚启用不久就屡屡出现问题。”

她补充，在没有妥善解决和加强维修管理缆车新缆车问题之际，甚至还调涨缆车收费，一味只会自吹自擂说州政府的钱生钱之道。可是，在提升服务水准上却一点也没有进步改善。部分游客大吐苦水投诉缆车发生故障，导致受困山上错过班机，可见的州政府并没有因缆车故障吸取经验，而采取危机应变，因此其危机管理意识可谓差强人意。

她说，槟城乃东方之珠，这非但影响槟城名声，甚至冲击槟城旅游业，搞到旅客怨声四起。继本月15日发生的缆车事故问题，是新缆车于去年开始川行以来，至今已经发生不下10次的故障了。

“林冠英却只管花时间全国跑透透进行政治演讲入住布城，也不看看Ubah了的槟城现状，槟城的外来投资目前已跌至第7，交通严重阻塞、一雨成灾，以及无法落实的人民组屋等种种问题。”

陈清凉：为保住官职 黄伟益公然教唆人民说谎

（槟城6日讯）马华槟州妇女组主席陈清凉抨击黄伟益发表误导人民言论一事感到惊讶，给予人民一个错误的示范，并对其职为一名州议员的他发表如此言论声表遗憾。




陈清凉是针对黄伟益促请所有民联支持者，若接到来历不明电话访问，或当街遇到国阵所举办的民意调查活动，应向对方表明支持国阵，以便对手误判形势一事发文告如此表示，黄伟益身为前教师、光大区州州议员、槟州首长政治秘书及民主行动党槟州社青团团长等掌权多职，却公开教唆人民说谎来误导国阵，这表明他根本没有诚信可言，也显示出其上梁不正下梁歪的错误示范例子。



“槟州马华近日到发林夜市场推动民意调查活动，据说在大约2000位受访者当中，约有1400人愿意持着“我爱马华”的标语，让马华志工拍照为证。奈何黄伟益吃不到葡萄说葡萄酸，甚至为了保住官职，竟然使用不择手段的方式，公然教唆人民说谎，导致如今的槟州政坛乱糟糟，并乌烟瘴气。”



她补充，他如此公然的误导人民，鼓励人民钱照拿票照投的谈话令人极度反感，也给人感觉使用下流的手段。这种教人忘恩负义等于教人儿女不必孝顺父母及教学生不必感恩老师的教诲，因为这些身为人家孩子和学生理所当然应得的东西，完全是错误示范的做法。



“我要强调的是，黄伟益教唆人民说谎绝对不是中华文化的精髓。让我更感到遗憾的事，他是名民选州议员，却教唆人民说谎，这也完全印证了他的心态，民联领袖的行为，自己讲自己爽。只要他心情好，什么都可以朝夕相改，也名正言顺的印证了披着猫皮的狼的虚假行为。”



她续称，从黄伟益的言论来看，反映出心术不正的心态和行为。试问如此恶劣素质的领袖，又如何可以引领我国朝更加繁荣的国家迈进，这是值得大家深思的。

揶揄槟州終承认转移债务

马华槟州妇女组主席陈清凉揶揄林冠英终于肯承认槟州政府成功减少债务的真相，是通过和中央政府达致水供债务重组协议，由此可见这并非他个人的功劳。


“林冠英不断自吹自擂，对外宣称槟州成功减少6亿令吉的债务是他的功劳，并对此沾沾自喜。当真相被揭发后，林冠英就反过来指说谈判成功是他的功劳，其实中央政府一视同仁的协助所有有需要的州属，得益的并不是只有槟州。”

陈清凉指出，从这一点也可以看出中央政府并没有视槟州为“弃婴”，只是在水供债务重组计划中，中央政府的善意举动被林冠英利用以提升自己的功劳。

“中央政府通过水务资產管理公司，在全国接管了5个州属的水供服务资产，包括柔佛、马六甲、森美兰、玻璃市和槟城，槟州政府实在没有必要大肆宣扬，也不必牵扯出什么严峻的谈判云云，因为相比起霹雳州通过水务债务重组协议成功减少9亿令吉的债务，槟州的债务问题是小巫见大巫。”

陈清凉说，林冠英不断吹捧自己的功绩，并为自己塑造出一副英明神武的形象，就是为了要误导人民。

Guan Eng finally admits Penang’s debt reduction is only a transfer of debt

Finally, the truth is revealed as Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng is finally willing to admit that his state government had successfully reduced the state’s debt with the help of the federal government through water restructuring.

For a long time Guan Eng has gone around boasting how successful they were in reducing Penang’s debt by RM600 million, and now it is finally revealed that Guan Eng’sbragging is actually an act of non-discriminatory assistance by the federal government given to all states, not only to Penang alone.

Therefore, we can see from this water restructuring deal that the federal government has never ignored Penang. Guan Eng’s description of Penang as “abandoned children” is only meant for him to take credit over the BN government’s contributions.

The federal government, through the Water Asset Management Company (PAAB), seeks to take over the water assets of five states, which are Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Perlis and Penang. Thus, there is no need for the Pakatan Penang state government to trumpet about driving a hard bargain as their so-called achievement pale in comparison to Perak’s success in reducing their debt by RM900 million through the same water restructuring deal with PAAB.

Thus, we can see from the expose of this truth that Guan Eng is only capable taking credit from others to boost his own personal image in order to mislead the people into thinking that his government is truly competent and accountable.

Officials from the Penang Chief Minister’s Office should learn basic etiquette

The Pakatan Penang state government should be criticised as they clearly are unqualified in hospitality, and actually have the cheek to claim that they are a CAT government of Competency, Accountable and Transparent.

The Penang BN Youth leaders had headed to Menara Komtar to present the 1% deposit as downpayment for the 0.45ha Taman Manggis land on Jalan Zainal Abidin. Unfortunately, security personnel blocked access to the administrative center of the state government.

It is regretable that when the Penang BN Youth leaders went to Komtar to submit the deposit to purchase the land, three security personnel locked the door to prevent them from entering. Guan Eng’s confidential secretary Farida Hani M. Yacob came to negotiate and informed that the administrative official would be back only at 12:00 noon, and thus, could not personally meet the state BN Youth leaders.

The Chief Minister’s office had on Monday, 1 Oct 2012, received a notice by the Penang BN Youth for an appointment, informing that they would be arriving at 10:30 a.m. on 3 October 2012 to submit the deposit for the purchase. Unfortunately, just for this 1% deposit process, it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete the task.

Considering that the Penang BN Youth leaders had given advance notice to officials of the Chief Minister’s office in relation to purchase of the land, regardless of whether the CM’s office had promised or reject the delegation, they should promptly inform the other, rather than sending his official and guards to make things difficult for them so that he can avoid receiving the payment.

Be a dignified administration. Even the most basic etiquette of greeting guests, they do not even know? The core of hospitality etiquette is respect. To respect oneself is to show respect for others.

Due to the improper arrangement on the department heads, with officials who are inadequate on hospitality services and insufficient provision of information, the rakyat cannot help suspect that the state government’s dealing of land transaction is not competent. Before the appointment of department heads, political secretary Ng Wei Aik offer of mediation for the Penang Barisan Nasional Youth Mission is just a political show.

In order to put an end to these circumstances, I would like to suggest that the state government should strengthen the training of officials to uphold the image of the state government, keep up with the demands of the times and to set a good and friendly image in order to obtain trust and goodwill in all aspects.

The DAP-led Penang state government is advised not to betray the trust given by Penangites which the former had sought when they politically maneuvered to gain the rakyat’s support and vote. Political showmanship do not bring any practical results in reality.

I wish to remind the Penang state government to solemnly observe that Penang’s total foreign investment in the first four months of this year plunged to the 6th place. This should have sounded off the alarm of which the Penang state government should have undertaken positive initiatives to work hard to deliver on the economy instead of spending all day playing up political tricks.

According to the latest data by the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA), Penang’s ranking on foreign investment dropt to the 6th spot. As for the total amount of foreign and domestic investment, Penang’s ranking fell to the 7th position. The current economic situation in Penang is indeed worrisome.

国阵预算案政策惠及全民 陈清凉斥林冠英过桥抽板

马华槟州妇女组主席陈清凉抨击林冠英的“槟城犹如弃婴”论是为了攻击国阵预算案而睁眼说瞎话，并通过给予不实的讯息企图误导人民，煽动槟城子民憎恨政府。
跟据报道，林冠英是在29日出席一项北海的活动后，向媒体表示2012年财政预算案没有惠及槟州而深表失望的言论。
“林冠英通过快乐学生计划，指定学生必须在申请表格中的父母一栏上填上是否为登记选民、选区等资料，否则一概取消资格。因此，快乐学生计划并非所有学生能够受惠，该计划的首要条件是父母必须是登记选民，这也包括了乐令人士、单亲妈妈、快乐宝宝计划受惠者必须是槟州选民，而不是以收入为考量，也赤裸裸曝露了民联州政府伪善的一面。”
陈清凉指出，首相通过预算案发放一马援助金2.0，如：500令吉的人民援助金、250令吉的单身者援助金、一年纪至中五的学生，每人可获得100令吉的补助、所有中六学生和大专生再获购书券，价值从上次的200令吉增加至250令吉等等，都是不分族群惠及全民的政策,包括槟州子民。
“之前派发援助金时，槟城州有多达30万户低收入家庭受惠。另外，中央政府派发给槟州子民的福利金也高达6300万令吉，林冠英为何只字不提？还是心虚不敢提？”
陈清凉也说，中央政府在早前也批准槟州兴建第二大桥、提升升旗山缆车、槟城快捷通巴士等等大型计划，也协助槟州政府解决水供债务。这些都耗资超百亿马币，也没听过林首长感谢中央一声。
“林冠英不断宣言民联槟州政府在2008年成功将6亿3000万令吉的债务减少6亿令吉，至今仅拖欠3000万令吉，成功减少95%的债务外，更有盈余。事实上，前朝州政府政权移交时有高达8亿的盈余，林冠英是在用国阵的钱派给人民。成功解决债务云云更是让人啼笑皆非，州政府是通过和中央政府的水供重组协议，把6亿令吉的债务转移给中央。”
她说，林冠英多次对此事避而不谈，隐瞒真相以提高民联的功绩，明显是过桥抽板，利用中央政府的善意来达成自己的政治议程。
“林冠英还要国阵公开槟州的影子内阁名单，这不是很可笑吗？民联甚至拿不出本身的中央影子内阁名单，林冠英有什么资格提出要求？林冠英不如以身作则，先促请民联公开他们的影子内阁。”
陈清凉强调，首相已经承诺槟州的子民，如果成功夺回槟州的政权，槟州的首长必定由华裔出任，这点是不容置疑的。

(槟城29日讯) 马华槟州妇女组主席陈清凉抨击林冠英双再度凸显其双重标准，只为一味的打到马华，而对党不对事，为捞取选票而见缝插针讨好选民。

她今日是针对林冠英指马华应向首相署部长拿督斯里纳兹里学习，别再人身攻击董总领导人，别偏帮教育部一事发文告指，林冠英曾在第12届大选时说，巫统贪污滥权及种族主义等，而尽管马华中有许了多好的议员，但是基于是国阵成员党，因此一竿子打翻一条船否决马华所有的贡献。

“我现在想问林冠英的是，难道纳兹里不是代表巫统领袖代表？林冠英不是指巫统是种族主义，难为何如今却又对纳兹里歌功颂德，这又意味着什么？如今林冠英与纳兹里称兄道弟的，是否是助纣为虐？”

她续称，董总叶邹二老号召926救亡大会我们也知道他们玩的是什么把戏，目的是要魏家祥下台，奈何多位董总理事及华教人士等都不买账，而华总和林连玉基金负责人也都跳出来表示不认同。在无法获得支持，因此最终才急转弯才将呈信函，改由呈备忘录。如今林冠英站出来为他们声援赞纳兹里而贬马华，这种骗取选民的心，也凸显其司马昭之心，路人皆知的意图。

另外，陈清凉也指，首相甫宣布2013年财政预算案，皆获得人民的赞赏，而林冠英吃不到葡萄说葡萄酸。试问小学生可获得100令吉补助金，中六学生和大专生可获得购书卷等都可以买到选票吗？他们又不是合格选民，也没有资格投票。

但实际上，林冠英在派发快乐学生计划里才是为捞取选票，而指定学生必须在申请表格中填上父母一栏上填上是否为登记选民等资料，否则一概取消资格。林冠英曾批判国阵中央政府搞民粹派钱100令吉给小学生，现在自己却更热衷搞民粹，俨如披着猫皮的狼。

“民联的替代预算案才是确确实实的糖果预算案，只是一味为了讨好选民而制造出的糖果预算案。在人民普遍唱好2013年财政预算案，而偏偏民联领袖却唱反调。国阵政府发500块的援助金，是针对符合资格的对象，但是槟城的单亲妈妈和快乐宝宝计划却是选择性只派发给选已的，国阵政府给予的津贴是惠及全民，因此完全符合国家繁荣、人民幸福、一诺千金的承诺。”

Typical of Guan Eng’s double standard attitude in insulting Budget 2013

The scathing insults by DAP Secretary General Lim Guan Eng towards Budget 2013 tabled by the Prime Minister yesterday displays his typical reaction of insulting anything which may threaten his seat of power in Penang.
It appears to be the norm for Pakatan to criticize everything that Barisan Nasional does, despite the fact that our actions have helped benefit many Malaysians. The Budget 2013 has been roundly praised by the public and stakeholders alike for encompassing all levels of society, including the middle income group, and addressing the concerns of the public such as housing and security, education and health.
The Budget is dedicated by the Prime Minister to all Malaysians, yet Guan Eng chooses to see it as an election budget. Perhaps Guan Eng should take a look at his own state in Penang before talking nonsense. While the Barisan Nasional federal government gives aid to all Malaysians, the Penang state government only chooses to give aid to registered voters in Penang.
In the Budget, funding is allocated to all students, whereas in Penang, funding is allocated to students whose parents are registered voters in Penang. This can also be seen in their other aid programmes for senior citizens, single mothers, and new born babies. What is this, if not a move to secure his own hold in Penang?
Since he took power, his arrogance and double standard attitude is simply overbearing. Even his own compatriot in PKR, Penang Deputy Chief Minister I Mansor Othman, had taken to calling him ‘cocky’, ‘arrogant’ and ‘tokong’ (CAT). Already the people can see through Guan Eng’s cover, and it is clear that he is not the humble, caring leader he portrays himself to be.

Pakatan’s own alternative budget is filled with flaws as well which may potentially drive the country bankrupt, and they have yet to fulfill their election promises, thus I advise Guan Eng to fulfill his own promises before simply shooting his mouth off to make himself look good to the public.

Political parties, especially Pakatan should speak out against vandalism

It is appalling that within a space of a week, five political service centres have been vandalized, the first four being Penang DAP headquarters and three other DAP service centres on 14 September 2012, and the fifth being the Gerakan Pulai Tikus centre on 17 September 2012 in what can be construed as a tit-for-tat situation, especially when Malaysians are general regarded as peace loving and respectful people.

It is a sad sight to see that our political culture has descended into the mentality of ‘an eye-for-an-eye’ among Malaysians, especially since the 12th General Elections in 2008 or better known by its acronym 308. It is even sadder that while DAP was quick to condemn the attacks on their own headquarters, they remain silent on the vandalism of the Gerakan service centre.

Pakatan should stop constantly portraying themselves as victims and playing such issues up, as others in the Barisan coalition too have suffered similar fates, not them alone. All political parties should speak out on such acts, especially Pakatan, as in their silence, the perpetrators may misconstrue it as a silent approval which will then give rise to more horrible acts, similar only to the brutal tactics of a loanshark, or ‘ah long’.

They were silent on the vulgarities used by their members, like holding a mock funeral rite for me during campaigning in 2008 or hurling misogynistic gender stereotypes against me at a public forum a few months ago. Thus it is no surprise that Pakatan too indirectly is linked political physical attacks on office structures, while at the same time pandering to the public by making playing up their misfortunes.

Wanita MCA Penang on the other hand had immediately criticized the attacks at the DAP service centres. In the past, we had also spoken out against degradation of women, regardless of political affiliation. All parties must speak out against the usage of hate politics and violence to achieve their own political means, and Wanita MCA is proud to say that we have taken the first step in doing so.

槟州行动党总部遭泼漆 陈清凉严厉谴责肇事者

马华槟州妇女组主席陈清凉针对槟州行动党总部和服务中心遭人泼红漆一事，严厉谴责肇事者的卑鄙行为，并促请警方尽快介入调查和逮捕肇事者。

“我们可能属于不同的政治团体并持有不同的意见，但肇事者的行为已经形成了一个对立的局面，更何况，暴力或恐吓手段是不能解决任何问题的。无论一个人对政党或该政党领袖有任何不满，应该通过理性的沟通，从根本解决问题。”

陈清凉指出，通过研讨会、对话、论坛或投诉信函都是当事人可以采取的方式，不应该把不满的兴趣诉诸于破坏行为。

“这种暴力和仇恨的行为同样发生在朝野政党身上，在敦拉萨镇国会选区一带张挂的蔡智勇和卡立肖像的横幅也遭人破坏，前者人头照被利刀割破、喷红漆、甚至被写上“欺骗”字眼，还有上个星期槟州国阵宣传车遭泼红漆等，除了对人身安全构成威胁，也破坏了国家的和谐的安宁。”

“破坏的举动是令人发指的行为，肇事者可能没有意识到，这是出卖他们懦弱的表现，也会造成反效果。”

陈清凉呼吁各界人士理性看到这件事情，并希望大家勿对此事采取过激的反应，并给予时间警方进行调查工作。

Vandalism against Penang DAP HQ denounced– Wanita MCA Penang

Without mincing our words, Wanita MCA Penang repudiates the vandalism against the Penang DAP Headquarters and the three DAP service centres. While we may belong to separate political ideologies, where there is harm to a structure or intended against individuals even from the opposite camp, Wanita MCA will condemn such vile acts.

Violence or intimidation is not the answer. Whatever dissatisfaction an individual has against any party or politician should be discussed in a rational manner be it at seminars, dialogue sessions with political leaders, forums or lodging any complaints in writing to the party concerned without resorting to desecrating the buildings.

The offenders may not realise, but such heinous acts which betray their cowardice may actually have the counter effect of winning their opponents sympathy.

Wanita MCA urges the police to investigate the matter thoroughly, and nab the culprits.

Meanwhile, we appeal for calm and urge the public not to over-react nor resort to retaliatory measures. Let the police do their job in probing.

陈清凉：质疑警方处理方式 林冠英以受害身份为捞宣传

（槟城4日讯）马华槟州妇女组主席陈清凉今日针对林冠英发文告质疑内政部在处理集会上改国旗、踩踏首相夫妇肖像及露臀辱骂国家领袖的案件上，利用受害者身份捞取廉价的政治资本，并一竹竿打翻整船人指国阵秉持双重标准准则处理此课题，而实际上林冠英更应该扪心自问自己的良心去了哪里。

林清凉表示，林冠英也质疑，内政部会否秉持相同标准，对付在光大焚烧并踩踏其肖像，甚至在私邸外举办葬礼的土著权威组织成员，但是其实他自己也曾任由其支持者和党员做出抬棺材，举办葬礼以及点白蜡烛等行为，并未曾为此说过任何一句话。

“一旦国阵领袖遭受同样的事情，却又第一时间以过去曾是受害者的身份站出来博取同情，并把所有过错怪罪在国阵政府身上，因此实际上秉持双重标准处事才是林冠英本身。”

也是马华中委及妇女组副总秘书的陈清凉续称，如果林冠英是如此的正义凛然，那为何当初不站出来指责这些公然对我做出不敬行为的支持者和党员呢?相反地，当这件事发生在林冠英身上，我甚至不顾大家阵营不同，挺身而出做出严厉谴责。既然林冠英本身是这样的人，因此他根本没有资格站出来指桑谩骂。

“究竟林冠英跳出来谩骂是安什么心，而他的道德立场和标准又是什么？而他简直是假扮正义讲一套做一套的人。”

Guan Eng doesn’t practise what he preaches – He too turned mute when his supporters performed a mock funeral

To score nothing else other than political mileage, Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng should be chided for casting doubts on the method in which the Home Ministry is investigating allegations of Janji Demokrasi rally goers who allegedly intended to replace ourJalur Gemilang, stomping on and exposing one’s rear to the portrait of our Prime Minister and his spouse.

Guan Eng has expressed doubt over the standards deployed by the Home Ministry to conduct a probe on individuals who had stepped on his portrait or Perkasa members who performed a mock funeral rite at his residence. However, Guan Eng overlooks the fact that he too closed an eye when he allowed his supporters to carry a coffin, holding a mock funeral ceremony by burning white candles and then kept quiet over these incidents during previous GE campaigns.

When such actions were committed against BN leaders, Guan Eng quickly appeared expressing regrets in hopes of seeking sympathy from the public. He craftily pinned blame on the BN leadership. In reality, he himself adopts double standards.

When Perkasa conducted a mock funeral rite at his residence this year, I immediately issued a press statement reprimanding Perkasa for their uncouth behaviour. However, when this DAP Secretary General’s supporters behaved likewise against me in previous GEs, Guan Eng chose to keep mum. This shows his double standards.

It is lamentable that Guan Eng is only acting a performance and holds no intention whatsoever to abide by any code of ethics at all.

DCM Mansor Othman’s unhappiness with Guan Eng’s dominance proves Pakatan’s unity a fraud

It seems that Pakatan’s display of unity, co-operation and good relationships are finally falling apart as mutual dissatisfaction underlines their alliance, proving that all these are just a political show. 

The leaked minutes of Penang PKR’s general elections strategy meeting which was uploaded unto a blog has exposed the fact that PKR is secretly allocating their own candidates for DAP-held seats in Penang, as well as the fact that the state PKR head and Deputy Chief Minister I Mansor Othman is unhappy with the one-party dominance of Penang by DAP and the arrogance of Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng.

Thus, it is no surprise that suspicion and hatred has arisen due to all this dissatisfaction felt by PKR towards DAP.

Mansor Othman’s dissatisfaction can be proven by members of the media as the Penang chief minister can be overbearing at times, and he has single handedly attempted to prevent freedom of speech by imposing a media blackout or ban, using the excuse of unfair reporting by the media.

Guan Eng is a good actor, so much so that he has managed to portray himself as a ‘deity’ to the people of Penang, and able to convince people that media which reports him in a negative light are BN lackeys and reporter who sell themselves like ‘prostitutes’, and the people follow him blindly thanks to his tactic of playing down of his faults while leaving the people in the dark and clamping down on the media.

Therefore, I urge Guan Eng to try to be a good and wise leader to Penangites, working and improving to rid himself of his practise of double standards and to open his mind. He should also listen to public opinion and learn to accept criticism instead on continuing his cat and mouse game with PKR in Penang.

The simplest method to avoid addressing any issue affecting the public is to just seal up one’s lips. This is often demonstrated by DAP on intra-party debacles or on issues involving state policies.

The latest decision undertaken by the Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang (MPPP) to not comment any further on hillslope development in the Pearl of the Orient smacks of the typical gag order practices spearheaded by the Rocket which now has spilled over to local authorities. Wanita MCA implores on MPPP to act and serve independently free of external subtle pressure by DAP. 

Malaysiakini (9 Aug 12) reported that state exco Chow Kon Yeow that MPPP will from now cease to make any statement in view of cases filed with the Appeal Board. Chow has missed the point that the wanton depletion of Penang’s green lung most particularly in Sg Ara, Mount Pleasure, Mount Erskine is major cause for concerns not only in terms of soil erosion, turning Penang into a concrete jungle but also a contributory factor towards a warmer climate.

Release minutes on hillslope development, pronto!

Wanita MCA Penang urges MPPP to heed the Penang Barisan Nasional’s call to be honest and not selectively reveal or hide some facts pertaining to hillslope development in the name of transparency since DAP came into office under CAT promises i.e. competency, accountability and transparency.

While it is commendable that MPPP met the journalists, MPPP should also take the effort to directly meet the residents affected by the rape of the hills and listen out to their grouses. If the DAP-led state government feels that they do not have to address the electorate’s voices of discontent, at the very least, it should hear out its own member cum state legislator’s representing Tanjung Bungah Teh Yee Cheu who has voiced concerns over excessive hillslope degradation.

We beseech DAP not to deploy the typical gag orders to silence critics or deflect addressing the issue hoping that it would be swept under the carpet. MPPP must serve the rakyat’s interest.

黃燕燕昨日（11日）為檳州馬華婦女組代表大會致開幕詞時說，婦女組從今日起別再講“人家頭髮不美，人家肥＂，而要拿起菜籃走進巴剎講政治，剖開檳州馬華婦女組主席陳清涼口中的那頭“披著貓皮的狼＂（檳州民聯政府）。

檳姐妹要成破“蛋＂英雄
每人至少要帶動10張選票

黃燕燕要檳馬華婦女組黨員成為檳州馬華打破“零蛋＂（零州議席）的英雄，要她們每人在來屆大選中至少帶動十張選票。而且要在代表大會結束後，回家先告訴丈夫、孩子和鄰居。

“祖母、安娣、阿姨和媽媽，你們也必需告訴那些年輕人真相。＂“搞政治要勇敢，你不講，人家就不知道！＂“民聯執政檳州4年來，做了甚麼？姐姐妹妹們，去講林冠英！＂不過黃燕燕也提醒婦女組黨員，到巴剎講林冠英可能會招來他人怒罵。

“因為你講了真相，他們害怕了，才會罵你！人家不聽，是因為他有問題，一個客觀的人會分析。＂

王賽芝：團結一致迎戰大選
馬華黨員須矛頭對外

王賽芝說，308大選已是檳州馬華最慘的局面，在來屆大選中，檳州馬華最沒壓力，該要放手一搏。

她說，馬華在來屆大選中面對生死存亡的情況，黨員需放下己見團結一致，放下派系之爭，矛頭對外。

有勝算候選人就會當選
肯定陳清涼4年努力

黃燕燕推薦陳清涼為候選人。

她認為陳清涼在這4年來有努力，不過她說不到大選提名字那一天，也不知道誰將是肯定的候選人。

她說，黨中央有在看，有在分析，若黨員最終沒被選中當候選人，是因為對方做得不夠。

她較後在新聞發佈會中受訪時說，有勝算的候選人就會當選。

當被詢及大會為何變成“批判林冠英大會時＂，黃燕燕說並非針對“林冠英＂而是“林冠英首長＂，因為一名首長的言行舉此和決定，將影響州政府及政策。

檳州馬華婦女組黨員菜籃內的21枚“子彈＂

一：檳州政府執政4年來，問題一籮筐，有山坡發展問題、交通阻塞問題、貧民沒有能力購屋。

二：檳州民聯厚臉皮，對他們有利的就搶功勞，不利的就推給前朝政府。

三：民聯在選擇國慶日主題上也意見分歧，豈能合作治國？

四：民聯不敢使用“一諾千金＂為國慶主題，因為民聯知道自己做不到。雙溪育收費站、第三選票，都是檳州民聯的上屆大選承諾，明知是中央權限，當初卻信口開河。市局週未停車位收費不但沒如民聯所承諾般被廢除，反而延長收費至晚上。

五：檳州民聯在來大選也會派糖果，但裡面包著的是毒藥！

六：檳州前2年的投資額居冠，是因為國陣之前打下的基礎。今年首4個月，檳州外資額排名跌至第六，國內外投資額排名跌至第七後，有沒有看到林冠英講話？

七：檳州的6.3億令吉債務只不過是由中央政府承擔下來，不是檳政府理財有道。國內6州使用一樣的方式轉移債務，霹靂州也因此減債9.9億令吉，又不看該州州務大臣像林冠英般敲鑼打鼓？

八：中央政府為檳州政府承擔6.3億令吉的債務，林冠英拍拍屁股，反罵中央政府欠債。父親為孩子還債，孩子豈能反過來罵父親欠債？

九：向極端神權主義說不！因為它歧視女性！

十：支持行動黨和公正黨就等於壯大伊斯蘭黨，民聯的UBAH禍害無窮。

十一：吉打州伊斯蘭黨政府通過22（A）法令，讓伊斯蘭法規有不被挑戰的地位，法規的指令，不能夠在伊斯蘭法庭或民事庭上被挑戰。若真的只影響穆斯林，為何不可在民事庭上被挑戰？這代表它將影響非穆斯林。

十二：檳州有約14萬名60歲以上者，於是，去年檳州政府給的100令吉樂齡人士回鐀金最多是1400萬令吉，但中央政府撥了2416萬援助有需要的老人，不計是否是選民。這顯示中央政府比檳州政府更有誠意。

十三：民聯執政檳州後，州內總生產值倒退，負1.8%，這4年來，民聯沒為檳州帶來正面發展。中央政府今年則為國家帶來4.7%的成長率。

十四：支持行動黨就等於為伊斯蘭黨埔路當老大，等於支持伊斯蘭刑法，也等於歧視女性、出賣女性、出賣華社。

十五：行動黨領袖之前反對建檳城第二大橋，現在行動黨就拼命催促要第二大橋儘快竣建；行動黨的立場不一致。

十六：旅遊部撥500萬令吉給州政府建升旗山停車場，豈知州政府車一個小停車場也不會建，最終需拆掉，用800萬令吉重建，浪費人民的錢。

十七：國陣由拿督斯里納吉當首相，民聯呢？支持反對黨（民聯），你看不到國家的前景。

十八：國陣注重經濟發展，伊斯蘭黨只要上天堂？

十九：UBAH就能改變政府？Sorry！UBAH只能改變政治，那些官員還是會有在。

廿：如果伊斯蘭黨成為國家大哥，會怎樣？我國正面臨政治危機，若“宗教治國＂當道，國家將一去不回頭！

廿一：世界各伊斯蘭國家有油田的就有錢，沒油田的就可怜。

檳馬華婦女組代表大會通過10議案

檳州馬華婦女組昨日（11日）早上9時在威斯達納酒店召開常年代表大會，約200名婦女組黨員出席。

一：全力支持首相推行的多項轉型計劃。

二：呼吁首相拿督斯里納吉領導的中央政府恢復檳州自由港口和落實單軌火車計劃。

三：歡迎高教部承認拉曼大學各分院超70項文憑的資格。

四：歡迎高教部批准拉曼學院升格為大學。

五：呼吁黨加強婦女兒童援助中心的操作，以協助緩和日增的家庭與社會問題。

六：譴責檳州政府無能解決島內日益惡化的交通問題。

七：譴責檳州政府無誠意實現居者有其屋的承諾，檳州政府應立即撥地建廉價屋。

八：譴責民聯鼓吹街頭示威，製造憤恨，破壞種族和諧及國家發展。

槟州马华妇女组大会 “责怪先生、逃避先生、耍赖先生…” 燕姐送冠英5封号

（槟岛西南区11日讯）马华副总会长拿督斯里黄燕燕说，槟州妇女组一致同意，根据槟州首席部长林冠英的“专长”，赐他“责怪先生”、“逃避先生”、“浩恋先生”、“耍赖先生”和“炫耀先生”等名号。

也是旅游部长的她主持槟州妇女组大会后，在记者会上一一解释以上名号的由来。她说，“责怪先生”（Mr Blame）名号来自于升旗山多层停车场课题，林冠英身为槟州发展机构主席，竟然怪罪拨款500万令吉让该机构全权负责计划的旅游部。

“第二名号‘逃避先生’（Mr Avoid），指的是林冠英对不利民联的课题从不正面回应或者保持缄默，伊斯兰国课题就是很好的例子。”

黄燕燕较早致词时更以福建话念出这些名号，包括“逃避先生”（Mr Siam）、“耍赖先生”（Mr Lua）和“炫耀先生”（Mr Ten）时，台下妇女纷纷拍手叫好。

黄燕燕说，在升旗山多层停车场课题上，林冠英也是“耍赖先生”（Mr Lua），因为他只会赖旅游部，一味把责任推给旅游部。

林冠英也是“浩恋先生”和“炫耀先生”（Mr Ten），时常炫耀槟州吸引外资的表现。但要知道，这全是国阵之前打下的良好基础才有的成果。反观今日林冠英领导下，槟州的成长率出现负成长，他该如何解释？

“以前国阵要建槟城大桥，林冠英父亲当时的反对党国会领袖林吉祥最反对，认定国阵做什么都是不好的；但现在国阵建设二桥，反对党却不断来追问几时能够建好。”她如是讽刺道。

仿若攻击林冠英大会

当记者询问为何大会仿若攻击林冠英大会，黄燕燕解释说，林冠英身为一州之长，他所做一切对槟州带来深远影响。

“所以我们批评的不是林冠英本人，而是他身为首长的身份。”

吁妇女同志『一人拉10票』 为槟马华『破蛋』

马华副总会长拿督斯里黄燕燕呼吁槟州妇女组天天谈政治，以“一人拉10票”为目标，在来届大选为槟州马华“破蛋”！

她说，今天的女性提着菜篮一样可以修身齐家治国平天下，妇女票的支持将在来届大选为国阵带来正面的效应，并有能力为槟州马华打破零蛋局面。

陈清凉肯定被推荐上阵

至于候选人安排，黄燕燕强调，最终出线的马华候选人是有绝对胜算者。

她说，尽管马华候选人名单已呈给总会长，但这份并不是最终名单，决定随时有变，政治没有绝对。

“上阵者一定是选民要的人，但我们依然会根据候选人的服务经验和人民接受度等，作为考量因素。”

她也说，她肯定推荐槟州妇女组主席陈清凉为候选人。

“不过我们并没有规定给女候选人一定的固打额，重要的是委派最高胜算的候选人上阵。我也不喜欢揣测，免得给候选人太大期望。”

担忧神权主义胜利

黄燕燕说，她从政45年来不曾如此忧心大选成绩，但来届大选却令她担忧，因为一旦神权主义取得胜利，女性地位就会被人看轻。

她说，最近吉打州议会通过修改了《2008年宗教司和法规（吉打）法令》，不允许任何人到民事或伊斯兰法庭挑战吉打州宗教司或法规委员会决定的法规，却没有看到行动党做出反对？

“这是一项非常危险的法令，也令大马政治出现危机。”

她说，若人民在下届大选给民联一票，等同支持神权主义，让国家迈向极端的神权国家，因此希望妇女们不要放弃希望，为了子女将来必须要支持一个马来西亚的国阵政府。

她也针对民联各执政州出现多个国庆主题，批评民联连一个主题都无法取得共识，试问民联政府如何有共识的治国。

陈清凉：披着猫皮的狼 槟民联派“毒糖果”

马华槟州妇女组主席陈清凉形容，民联槟州政府是一头披着猫皮的狼，只会给人民派“毒糖果”，国阵誓要一层层剥开猫皮，让人民看清楚民联的真面目。

她批评，民联执政槟州4年半来，许多选前承诺还是空谈，包括取消周末停车收费、取消双溪育收费站和还民第三张票等，这些都是包着毒药的糖果。

她说，308大选后国阵和平交出政权后，但今日的槟州在民联执政下，出现很多乱象，包括日益严重的交通阻塞、山坡发展计划和居者无其屋的问题等。

“今日的槟州好像沦为人治社会，凡事都是林冠英讲了算，就好像闹得沸沸扬扬的山坡发展计划，便是最好的例子。”

她说，当国阵要求解密山坡发展计划资料时，民联政府百般阻挠，有利的就解密，不利的就不公开。

她说，林冠英最厉害的就是把不利的就归咎于前朝，有利则抢功劳，民联政府是脸皮最厚的政府。

王赛芝：槟州内总生产负成长

全国妇女组副主席王赛芝表示，槟州在2008年至2010年以来，州内总生产是负成长1.8%，意味着槟州在民联领导下，至今从未有正面成长，反而是越来越差。

她说，反观国阵政府至少在去年中央成长率是5.2%，今年也预测至少有4.7%，因此大家要对马华、国阵有信心，团结一致。

此外，她也说，民联1年才发放100令吉给乐龄人士福利金并不能真正援助到贫困老人，而也附带条件必须是合格选民才可获得津贴，国阵的福利金才是真正援助贫困老人。

她说，中央政府在给乐龄老人生活津贴，去年全国共拨出4亿7780万令吉，受惠人有13万5217人，其中槟州总共发放2416万令吉，惠及贫老7185人。

她透露，依照2011年国家人口统计，槟城60岁乐龄人士有14万人，因此州政府1年只是拨出1400万令吉，但中央政府给槟城老人的福利金，却是槟州政府两倍，即2416万令吉。

10提案挺中央谴责槟政府

槟州马华妇女组2012年大会提案：

Promoting hudud law is a step backwards for modern Malaysia

It is time that PAS and other opposition leaders who promote hudud to look at Islamic state nations and see how mandating ultra-conservative laws can lead to unnecessary bloodshed. In Afghanistan, for example, a woman was recently shot in the head several times by her husband on suspicion of adultery while being cheered on by a crowd of men. The said video circulating online has earned international outrage.

As suggested by an editorial by social activist Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir in The Star (19 July 2012), I strongly urge PAS which thinks implementing hudud law is for the welfare of Malaysians to watch the video in all of its gruesome detail and think again.

If Malaysia is ever to develop as a fully industrialised nation, it is imperative that the government does not promote such backwards, antiquated thinking. In this modern world, a woman should not have to fear for her life because a few people suspect her of wrongdoing. What Malaysia needs is not PAS leaders who perpetuate misogynistic nonsense (e.g. PAS spiritual leader DAto’ Seri Nik Aziz’s video exhorting rape against women) but government officials who progress the country to its full potential by promoting gender equality, economic prosperity and social cohesion.

Mandating hudud law for non-Muslims is unconstitutional

A careful reading of the Federal Constitution shows that hudud laws cannot be fully implemented in Malaysia because they cannot be imposed on non-Muslims. PAS may claim to represent the needs of all Malaysians, regardless of ethnicity but existing policies and actions in PAS-led administrations in Kelantan and Kedah like fines against non-Muslim employers whose employees had donned sleeves not considered long enough despite covering the elbow, forbidding licenced betting and alcohol sales, gender segregation, ordering a Buddhist association’s building to have Islamic designs casts doubts unto PAS’ claims and DAP’s and PKR’s inability to control PAS.

If DAP and PKR were truly multiethnic parties concerned about issues that affect all Malaysians, then it should not be silent about PAS’s stance on the enforcement of hudud law. But the two other parties have not publicly quelled public fears by insisting in writing into the Buku Jingga that hudud law is not part of Pakatan’s agenda.

I strongly urge all Malaysians to consider Pakatan’s blatant ignorance of the Constitution as well as its multiple stances on hudud law in the next general elections. Malayia’s future as a modern, developing nation depends on it.

  槟州政府5月份《珍珠快讯》，林冠英照片几乎从头包到尾，连家人在內，总共51张。

（槟城28日讯）槟州政府在5月份出版的《珍珠快讯》，在28页的会讯中，共有51张槟州首席部长林冠英及家人，包括妻子周玉清、父亲林吉祥的照片，引来批评。

在这份充斥着林冠英及家人照片的刊物中，其中一版甚至有7张林冠英抱着不同婴孩的照片。

另一版则刊登几张林冠英在妇女节时，走访各选区赠送鲜花予妇女的照片。

针对这份刊物，马华槟州妇女组主席陈清凉直指林冠英有滥用公帑之嫌，利用官方会讯《珍珠快讯》来达到其个人政治宣传和抬高自己身价的目的。

她今日发表文告说，一名部落客批评，与其他民联领袖相比，林冠英及其家人在该月刊中占的版位太多，在28页的月刊中，平均每页都有3张林首长的照片，其中一页竟有7张相片，让人咋舌。

她说：“既然整本月刊都是以林冠英与其家人为主，不如干脆改名为《林冠英及家人特讯》更为贴切，这样更能达到其政治宣传目的，同时也可以抬高自己的身价，制造‘林冠英神话’或把自己塑造为‘槟州偶像’。”

首长办公室新闻主任致歉

槟州首席部长办公室新闻及通讯组主任叶丽云，针对州政府最新一期刊物《珍珠快讯》内容以首席部长林冠英的照片为主，公开致歉。

她在一份只有两段的简短文告中说，她已采取步骤确保不再重犯这项技术疏忽，日后有关刊物将以新闻资讯为主。她也对此事对林冠英及其行政议员所造成的尴尬致歉。

Penang locals continue to feel neglected by DAP government

It is time for the Penang state government to end being implacable to the Penang people whose concerns about hillside development have been dismissed. The Penang people have been protesting in frustration against the planning and approval process of the projects because it is caters to developers only and fails to incorporate feedback from locals.

The DAP-led state administration should not be making decisions without consulting those affected by the decisions first. As Penang Island Municipal Councillor Dr. Lim Mah Hui suggested in his speech last Monday as reported in New Straits Times (26 June 2012), the council needs to hold consultative meetings with the public to explain the impact of its proposed projects and to get the locals’ input and approval before making a final decision.

Frustration will continue to brew until there are serious steps taken to ensure the local council and the people are given the chance to be involved in making decisions that affects their lives. Once again, I urge DAP Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng to listen to the concerns of ordinary citizens and residents and take serious action to ensure that their interests are truly being represented.

DAP not serious enough about championing democracy

It is clear that DAP is not serious about democracy. Although it claims to be the champion of democratic ideals, DAP has neglected a key responsibility of the government: representing the people. The Penang people’s largest complaint is in the process of implementing projects, which has favoured developers at the expense of the people. For example, a 30-storey apartment was approved in a low-rise residential area where individual homeowners have been trying to get permission to build three storey-houses. These kinds of incidents have been occurring more frequently, which has understandably incited anger from Penang citizens and residents.

DAP has failed to demonstrate its claims as the champion of democratic ideals. How long will the DAP continue to rule Penang without the consent of the Penang people?

MPPP gag order – DAP’s practice of subduing disagreement now taken up by MPPP, proving speech freedom non-existent in Penang

It is disheartening to note that the DAP Penang state government’s actions in curbing freedom of speech has rubbed off on the Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) as can be seen in their decision to issue a gag order on councilor Dr Lim Mah Hui over his outspokenness in slamming the state government for influencing the approval of a hillslope development project in Sungai Ara.




Thus, this brings no meaning to DAP’s claim of freedom of speech, and reveals their hypocritical nature. When Lim Guan Eng, the Penang Chief Minister, had claimed “a victory for press freedom” when the High Court struck out a defamation suit filed by Penang Umno Liaison Committee against him, the public now know that his statements bears no meaning due to the MPPP gag order.



Not only has Guan Eng influenced the state government to boycott mainstream media news agencies like Utusan Malaysia and New Straits Times from covering state events, it seems that his arrogance has influenced MPPP as well. In DAP, gag orders are the norm used for quelling dissidence, the most recent being the gag order imposed on former party Vice-Chairman Tunku Abdul Aziz, and now Dr Lim Mah Hui appears to be another victim of DAP’s arrogance.



No more check and balance



Now with his gagging, the council’s system of check and balance has been shattered, as Dr Lim Mah Hui was appointed a councilor under the NGO quota. His outspokenness has allowed the public to know the real truth of what is going on in the state government administration as he is liable to no one. The gag order imposed on him defeats the purpose of having him as a councillor at all as what is the point of having a councillor who is not afraid to speak out on behalf of the people?



DAP should learn to take responsibility



Instead of shutting up Dr Lim Mah Hui through the MPPP gag order, or by shifting the blame to the previous BN state government, Guan Eng should instead take responsibility for his actions and admit that the hillslope development project in Sungai Ara was indeed approved by his state government. Thus, the public should be aware that DAP is not as perfect as they claim to be, and that they are politicizing everything only so that they can take over Putrajaya and that their involvement in many other scandals, such as the sPICE project and the Bayan Mutiara land sale, are proof that DAP is unfit to govern.

行动党其实怕邓章耀

她以本身获得国阵主席邓章耀受委为宣传局主任为由，反驳行动党领袖标签她、丁福南及希尔米为国阵B队的言论，并且也揶揄槟州行动党领袖在过去十天连续不断的群攻邓章耀的做法，是怕了邓章耀。

“行动党领袖包括了林冠英、曹观友、黄伟益、黄汉伟、章瑛、刘镇东及再里尔，7人不断的攻击没有官职也不是人民代议士的国阵主席邓章耀，这说明了他们现在很担忧而且也很畏惧邓章耀。”

火箭存在反对党心态

她今日连同槟国阵宣传部研究员严汶隆、亚逸布爹区国阵协调员陈协成、国阵宣传局秘书哈山宁及国大党署理主席克里斯南，在记者会上，开足火力的炮轰行动党。

她对于行动党已经执政了4年，但是依然还存有反对党心态和思维感到震惊，行动党至今所使用的字眼和游戏还是反映了他们反对党的思维。

“我现在被委任为宣传局主任，我将会逐步的撕开他们披着羊皮的狼的真面目，揭穿说谎、抹黑、扭曲事实的猫。”

“火箭扭曲事实煽动人民”

她指出，行动党一直以扭曲事实的方式来保温人民憎恨国阵的情绪，包括诬赖中央政府要惩罚槟城人的说法。

“中央政府何时要惩罚槟城人？当我在两年前担任槟州港务局主席时，我把丽星邮轮带进来瑞典咸码头当做他们的母港，这一来为槟州的旅游业、饮食业和酒店业至少也2000万令吉的收入，所以即使国阵失去了槟州政权，但是我们还是继续的照顾槟州。”

她劝告首长林冠英今日的身份已经今非昔比，他的每句话都是非常分量，不该胡乱说话。

促行动党履行代议士责任 国会质问公共-私人合伙单位

槟州港口有无私营化？陈清凉要行动党国会议员履行人民代议士责任，在国会上质问首相署公共-私人合伙单位（Unit Kerjasama Awam-Swasta, UKAS)。

陈清凉指出，槟州行动党国会议员包括了曹观友、章瑛、刘镇东，要非国会议员的邓章耀及槟州国阵回答港口私营化的问题。

没质问矛头指2人

“他们身为国会议员，领取纳税人的钱，但是却是这样的表现？甚至连槟州港务局和槟州港口有限公司的差别，港口私营化与自由港的分别也不会。”

她解释，槟州港务局是隶属交通部，而槟州港口有限公司则隶属财政部，而港口私营化是行政的事项，他们应该问负责这事情的公共-私人合伙单位，但是行动党却针对这事情指责邓章耀和首相，显然政治化了这项课题。

她讽刺行动党领袖换了位置换了脑袋，在上届大选时要人民否决国阵的2/3议席，但是现在却呼吁人民让民政党和马华吃零蛋，这是行动党所谓的两线制以及林冠英自己说的绝对的权力绝对的腐败？

她也指出，国阵已经针对港口私营化和自由港的事情做出解释，但是行动党却不认错，因此她劝谕行动党不要再自爆其丑。

“国阵贯彻言论自由，不会如民联政府讲一套做一套，一边说新闻自由，但是另一边却禁足媒体及记者采访，甚至也不和记者握手，一点也尊敬媒体。”
